"I want to give a shout-out to Alameda Engineering. They did a great job in installing a subsurface sump pump and underground drainage pipe to the uphill street. I subsequently hired another contractor to install a french drain, which was connected to the sump pump vault. That contractor allowed concrete slurry to enter the vault (which messed up the vault area and interfered with the drainage system), which I later discovered. Lance with Alameda Engineering came out, and at no cost, fixed my issue. This is above and beyond service. I highly recommend him, both for his quality of work and his caring character."

"The wall Lance and his team put in is fantastic. All the work and (uuugh) pre-planning, getting the building permit, surveying, working with the neighbor, Lance was so helpful, patient, and reassuring. I am also an engineer and can be super picky. Lance made all aspects of the project very clear, helped me work thru my options, and helped me make choices that I am and will be happy with. It got to the point where there were some loose ends and due to prior conversation of goals and principles, I could trust Lance to literally decide what I would decide. Then there were many touches added in (hidden screws to hold the top beams in place, slight gaps between the boards to eliminate any change of hydrostatic pressure build-up, the drainage execution made me very pleased. Clearly he and his team have experience and expertise.
